I’m so excited to have these amazing nutrition interns working with me in 2015! Here’s a little bit about each of them!
Name: Morgan Hines
School: University of Kansas – May 2014, Current – Kansas State University
Hometown: Topeka
Major: From the University of Kansas: B.S.E. in Community Health, Currently pursuing a degree in dietetics from KSU
Favorite Healthy Snack: Any Larabar, Kombucha, or even just a plain baked sweet potato 🙂
Favorite Exercise: Recently I have gotten into group fitness, it has given me motivation to set higher goals and be challenged by the people in the group. When the weather is nice I find myself spending much more time running!
Career Aspirations: I am not entirely sure the specific area of dietetics I would like to work in, but I know that I will be pursuing a career in nutrition education and promotion. I would love to someday work as a sports dietitian, but I can also see myself working with school programs to join the efforts in changing food provided in school settings for the better.

Name: Chloe Davis
School: Simmons College
Hometown: Merrimack, New Hampshire
Major: Nutrition and Dietetics, and Public Health, working on my Masters in Nutrition and Health Promotion
Favorite Healthy Snack: Trail Mix, clementines and carrots and hummus.
Favorite Exercise: I love competitive swimming, running, and TRX exercises!
Career Aspirations: I would love to be a sports dietitian and run my own fitness/wellness center.

Name: Jorden Edinger
School: Kent State University
Hometown: Huron, Ohio
Major: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I am working on my Master’s degree in Nutrition.
Favorite Healthy Snack: Peanut butter, granola, and banana wrap.
Favorite Exercise: I love many types of exercise like boot camp, PiYo, TRX, and spinning. Anything to do with group fitness is my favorite!
Career Aspirations: Sports dietitian! I would also like to own a gym.
