It’s summertime, a refreshing frozen snack for the kids is always fun when it gets hot outside. As a nutritionist and mother of two daughters, I try to make recipes that are both nutritious and delicious. These simple and very affordable energy packed frozen banana peanut butter bites are only $0.37 when the ingredients are purchased at Walmart. Note: Adults will also enjoy the tasty frozen bites. It’s a great way to use up ripe bananas, too!

Peel one banana. Use half of  the peeled banana and mix with the peanut butter. Set aside the mixture. Peel the other 2 bananas and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Put the mixture on half and then place the other banana half on top making banana sandwiches. Freeze for 2 hours. Enjoy!
