Last week I attended to IDEA World Expo in Los Angeles which is the biggest fitness expo in the World! It was so much fun hearing about the latest and greatest in fitness, connecting with some friends, and meeting some wonderful new people during my book signing for The All-Pro Diet at The National Honey Board booth!

Thanks to everyone who came by the booth! It was so much fun! Here are a few photos.

I love talking to people about eating clean and it was so nice to meet so many other fitness professionals who are also teaching their clients to pay attention to the foods they are putting into their bodies.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi! I also snapped this photo of my favorite room service breakfast which is easy to DIY at home. Doesn’t it look yummy? Oatmeal with fresh berries. I usually love to add a few almonds for crunch but the hotel didn’t have any in the kitchen. At home, when I need a quick power breakfast I put oatmeal in a bowl, add a little 1% organic milk and then cook for about 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave. Then I let it stand for another minute or so in the microwave before I add a little more milk and then the berries and almonds. Delish and simple.

What is your favorite way to eat your oatmeal?

  1. It looks like you had an awesome time at the IDEA conference!

Oatmeal is my favorite breakfast too… In fact, I love it so much I often make it into lunch or dinner too. I like to mix in a spoonful of peanut or cashew butter into my warm oatmeal to add a savory taste.

  2. It looked like a great conference! I usually like to add any kind of fruit or berries or sometimes canned pumpkin. It’s always topped with peanut butter 🙂
